And, here it is, Dear One–the final post in my year of Sunrise Pages.  Enjoy, and please be a part of what comes next…

Happy New Year, Dear Universe!

2017!  It’s here!

Of course, by the time I post this, it will probably be mid-January.

This first day was sunny and mild, in the 40’s.

Yesterday, I traveled down to Connecticut to join my wife and some of our friends in gathering together to reconnect, celebrate, and ring in the New Year.  There were fun new acquaintances made, plus the surprise of meeting one acquaintance from years ago, who turns out to be a good friend of one of our dear friends, and was the maid of honor at our friends’ wedding.  It was great to see her and catch up, and to meet her wonderful family.  Small world!

So, last night was with friends and family, with children playing, music and laughter, a roaring fire, and even a sweet dog to befriend.  Such can be the simple joys of an evening with friends.

This morning, it was just the three families of us close friends, spending a quieter time catching up.  We ate well, thanks to our generous hosts, and then Joy and I headed back home.

So, here I am now, writing what I believe to be my 366th Sunrise Pages post – one full year of living this practice.

I’m in the living room, with most of the lights off, a candle burning, and the Christmas tree lighted.  This, too, is simple joy.

I don’t know, yet, what I will do tomorrow about continuing on.  Lately, when I consider this practice, I can’t imagine not writing regularly; though, maybe not daily.  Perhaps I will discontinue posting, though.  It is enticing to imagine what program creation, marketing, and just new innovation and creation I could conjure with that time.

I challenged myself to do something I initially was telling myself I could “never do.”  I learned a lot about myself, in the process.

I also hoped, Dear One, that it would give you a flavor of what I’m about and what I offer with my coaching.  I feel I’ve given a good representation of that, for better or worse.

But, I really want 2017 to be filled with coaching experiences and relationships.  I believe that will happen with less of this monologue from me, and more focus on creating conversations.
