Soulful Truth, Gentle Creator!

There appears a deep, blue, glowing fog outside this morning.  Yesterday’s gloomy, rainy weather continued overnight and will linger through today, although the temperatures are predicted to warm up to the high 40’s.  We’ll see.

I’m torn about how to spend my day.  After holiday travel, and then working the last five days, I have a desire to get outside for a walk or run.  But, my body also feels in need of rest, of being off my feet and giving my back some gentle rest.

I’m leaning toward a walk this morning, while I catch up with my friend Jeannine.  We’ll see.

I see things on the internet, at times, that make me think – “Whoa!  Truth!”

Yesterday, there was a post by a Facebook friend and fellow coach, declaring what she stands for.  Powerful.

And, there was a speech by author Kelly Corrigan, sharing her experience over the summer at a camp for kids with a parent battling cancer.  Kelly is so eloquent, able to express the connection, emotion, and humanity she experienced – Truth!

I appreciate people sharing their Declarations of Truth – of What Matters to Them, of What They Stand For.

My friend declaring to herself and the world how she wants to show up; who she will be.  Not the “easy” choice, but the truthful one.

Kelly, demonstrating the joy and value in opening our heart and pain to, and with, others.  How beautiful, magical, and healing an experience it is, when we tend to others, and receive love and healing in return.

And, Today’s Prompt:

Dear One, it can seem so easy to just assume that we can’t have what we want to have, and be who we want to be.

So much so, that we often don’t even allow ourselves to ask what we want and who we want to be, let alone imagining ourselves moving toward those desires.

I listen to Kelly’s talk, and I think – “Wow.  It’s so simple to break open like that.  And, it’s emotional; but, in such a powerful and good way.  It’s so healing for everybody.”

All it takes is putting ourselves there.

Where do you want to be, Dear One?  What do you need?

Will you dare to put yourself there?

Opening our heart allow the Love of the Universe to flow through, filling us with Joy and Purpose.  Truth, Dear Guides!  Thank You!
