Searching for Unity and Peace, Dear Creator!
What a clear, lovely dawn and sunrise to start this day. Temperatures might even reach the 60’s here.
Today is Election Day – a day to choose. Of course, by the time I post this, the results will be known and old news.
I write all the time about how every day, and every moment, we have the opportunity to choose! We can stay the course, or change direction.
By the time this is posted, we will be in a new phase of the challenge this election cycle has revealed – there is a fracture in this country, that, regardless who wins, is in need of healing.
How, Dear One, do we address the fracture? What can we, as individuals, do to promote healing?
Even this, I offer, is a question worth addressing from your Integrity.
Areas where you are hurting and struggling, feeling under-represented or disrespected, or that you wish things were different – does it feel lighter and more free to blame or attack others, and to feel like a victim? Or, does it feel better to look within to what you can think and do differently to create positive change?
So, a Prompt for you:
Dear One, what aspects of character do you intend to live? Take a minute, and make a list of ten or twenty words that you would like to represent and define your character.
Here’s the thing – use these as your guideposts. As you live your intention and follow your sense of integrity, you will feel lighter and more free.
No one can take that from you.
