To Brighter Beginnings, Glorious Universe!

I’m up and started early on this cool, cloudy morning.  The eastern sky is just darkness, so I’m guessing it’s heavy with clouds; otherwise, I would see the brightening dawn at this time.

What a difference from yesterday.  Today I’m here, feeling better, because I did spend time yesterday on my “avoidables.”

I think that began by issuing myself hope and forgiveness yesterday, rather than condemnation.  I truly believe negative begets negative and positive begets positive; so, when I chose optimism yesterday morning, focusing on the fact that every mew moment is a new opportunity, I kept open my hope and belief in my own progress.  And, I was encouraged to get something done.

As an aside, dawn has advanced this morning, and the sky is covered with thick clouds.  For a few moments, though, the bottom ridges of a series of those clouds in the east were painted with bright-red highlights – a rather glorious presentation, and one I’m glad I looked out to notice.

So, yesterday morning I wrote yesterday’s Pages, and then posted the Pages from last week.  I then went to work, which was a challenging day.  I grabbed some groceries on the way home (an avoidable), and then arrived home and shared with my wife about our days.  I then had soup for dinner, as she prepared for bed.

After a bit of television, I chose to turn it off, instead listening to the audio of the first class from Martha Beck’s DIY Integrity Cleanse Kit (digital).  I listened to the first half, and then opted to get in bed and do the first exercise from the workbook – Accessing Your “Sense of Integrity.”

I went to sleep feeling full, relaxed, and at peace, with a sense of accomplishment from choosing to turn off the television and actually doing some of the “avoidable” things I’ve been meaning to do.

Today’s Prompt:

In the bigger picture, Dear One, we are always moving forward.  Our choice, in the Present, to be optimistic, propels us to the future we want to have.

Rather than looking back and condemning yourself over what wasn’t done or could or should have been done differently, focus on the potential present in this Moment.

No matter what choices you’ve made in your past, you can start change in your life Right Now.

List 3 changes you want in your life.  Write them down and post them someplace you’ll see them every day.  They’ll act as the compass needle guiding you toward the life you want.

Rather than your life living you, with false beliefs that don’t serve you, it’s time to live your life from your True SelfKnowing to do, and doing it – Thank You, Dear Guides!
