Sunrise Pages September

Choices, Divine Universe!

It is a foggy, chilly morning.  No sign of the sun yet, with this thick blanket of fog hanging over us.  I do love the way the fog makes the trees farther away seem to dissolve away into the mist.

The day should be clear, once the fog lifts, and then sunny.  Tonight I’m co-leading a full-moon kayak tour.  It looks to be cool, and the moon’s rise will be later than it was earlier this week, so nearer to the end of the tour.  And, I’ll be dressing for the cooler temperatures we’ll get once the sun sets.

I’m looking to do some daring today, journeying into risk and vulnerability.

Dear One – you know how often lately I’ve been talking about release, and letting go of my loyalty to my fears and living as my small self.  This is exactly what I’ve been talking about – there are things, even just little things, that would shift that, and that my old self/small self thinks of as scary and risky.  But, in reality, these things aren’t dangerous – they don’t risk life or limb, or financial security or the roof over our heads, or really even anything about my current life.

The truth is, these things would only risk change.  They would create opportunity in the direction I want to go.  Or, that I at least think I want to go.

Why, oh why, Dear One, have I taught myself to believe that that’s risky, dangerous, or a threat?

No matter.  It’s time, Dear One, for me to start taking successive Turtle Steps.  Creating one small step, then doing it and following through, and then another and another.  Time to build momentum!  Time for change!

A Prompt for you, Dear One:

We can lull ourselves into believing that we are taking action and changing, but we might only be perseverating on change.

Don’t misunderstand me; it’s good to be clear and focused about your intentions and goals.  But, at some point, before you feel ready, it will be time to stop imagining and planning, and to just start doing.

Start, Dear One.  With your first Turtle Step, start!

Onward, all the while living the adventure!  Together, My Dear Angels and Guides!
