Sunrise Pages September

Brightness, Divine Essence!

Here I sit, opening to you, Mystical Creativity.  Just like each day, since the beginning of the year, and a number of days before that.

The sun is shining, and there’s a mix of clouds in the sky.  It’s hot and muggy; a return to summer, perhaps.  Yet, leaves are beginning to change and fall.

What is there to write; what is there to say?  Well, I do my best to leave that responsibility to the Muses and the Divine Creative Spark.

My wife mentioned that she had enjoyed my posts from the last couple days.  To be honest, I’m a little disconnected from them, because I’ve fallen behind in my posting, and what I most remember is that it’s been a bit of an effort to sit myself down and get still, without distraction, to allow something to flow and fill the page.

I have a hunch why that is – I’m holding something back, trying to keep a Truth tamped down and under control.

Even writing that leaves me feeling vulnerable, like cracking open Pandora’s Box or taking the stopper out of the genie’s bottle.

Dear One, do you want to know what is powerful and lovely about this way that I’m feeling – cautious, vulnerable, and risky; yet, also filled with anticipation?  It’s that I recognize how universal this feeling is, how we each have this metaphysical space – where we have a vision of where we want to be; but Dammit!  We’re just not sure we can have that, that we can get there.

And, then we begin to wonder whether it would be better, safer, and less painful to close that dream down and not try, not wish at all.

And, there it is – the Universal Choice – Love or Fear.  And, I say, even to myself, “Don’t let Fear lead!”

So, here’s a Prompt for Today:

This is what happens more and more, Dear One, as you get still, find your peace within, and listen to your heart – You begin to feel the pull toward Your Purpose.

And, it can be scary, and daunting – especially when you still think of yourself as the version of you without direction and determination.  You wonder how that you could possibly create this new and wonderful life.

The answer is – the old you can’t, entirely.  But, the great news is that the creation has already started, and, even now, already, that old you is in the rear-view mirror, and you’ve already begun a transformation.

The you that you’re becoming is exactly the right person to create that future.
