Peace and Greetings, Abundant Universe!
My appreciation, Guides, for your companionship and mentoring through all the twists and turns, rises and falls, of my living years. Finding that place, that level of awareness and consciousness, where I know that I am not my thoughts, or the emotions triggered by those thoughts; that I am actually okay and whole, loved and connected to the All of The Universe. Finding the deep Peace and Connection, within and without, where there is Love and Understanding.
Right now, I am watching the gray, overcast skies brighten considerably as the sun shines brightly behind; at the same time, a flurry of snow continues to whip past sideways in the cold blustery wind. Fifties and sunny yesterday morning, then torrential rain for the afternoon, and back to freezing and flurries overnight into this morning. It’s certainly been interesting.
Yesterday, I mentioned the bell I visited on occasion at PEM in Salem, MA. The Diamond Sutra Temple Bell helped me find stillness and inner peace in my early days practicing mindfulness and meditation. The PEM also had a statue of a Buddha and a Bodhisattva, with whom I would sit, in stillness and contemplation. I didn’t do my artist’s date (from The Artist’s Way) every week, but this is how I spent a fair number of them. Maybe there are no better models of stillness than statues. Perhaps trees.
By some definitions, Bodhisattva refers to one who is committed to enlightenment for the sake of others. It is the idea that enlightenment, our Buddha Nature, exists in all of us. A Bodhisattva practices to attain awareness and presence in her/his Buddha Nature, which opens the Wise Heart to the compassion and connection of All.
Within us all is our Buddha Nature. O Nobly Born, remember your radiant true nature. That is to whom I speak today – the Buddha within me addressing the Buddha within you.
The wise, peaceful soul within me has been encouraging the courageous, caring soul within you to step up into Your Truth, Share Your Voice, and Shine Your Light.
I now call upon that brave part of your Self that deeply desires change – It’s Time. Time to Step Up. Time to Dare. Time to take that First Step toward Your True North.
There’s another part of you that may have doubts; that thinks you’re “supposed to” just stay where you are – unhappy and unfulfilled. That it’s too risky or difficult to change anything.
It’s time to be honest with yourself – how hard is it to do nothing, to know nothing in your life is changing, except that you’re getting older?
It’s the story of the two wolves – We each have two wolves inside us. The “good” wolf, representing our best, brightest, fullest self; and, the “bad” wolf, our small, petty, hopeless, and imprisoned self. The wolf that grows strong is the wolf we feed. So, feed your “good” wolf.
It’s time to share your hopes and dreams: time to start charting the course to Living the Life You Want.
Let’s book an Orientation Session, where we can get to know each other. It’s a courageous first step for you claiming the Life You Want.
Excited? Intrigued? Let’s Do It!
