I spent the last couple days with some friends and their families. Sigh… <3
Last night, we went out at midnight to observe the Perseid meteor shower. As I lay on the warm sidewalk looking skyward, I imagined how each of us is like an individual shooting star. Amazing separately, but a phenomenon when we relate and connect.
Today, as I drove home alone, with the top down, I saw a gorgeous sunset, painting the undersides of the western clouds hues of pinks and oranges, slowly deepening to reds-purples while the horizon shown with the last golden brightness. I wished for someone to be with me to share in the sight. “The minimum number for magic through connection is two”–Martha Beck. I hope some of you shared our sunset!
Love, Ray
